    Dr. Jun Tan is an orthopedic surgeon in the care of patients with spinal injury, degeneration and tumor deformity. He is specialized in complicated cervical vertebra and spinal surgery, as well as minimally invasive surgery under a microscope, and endoscopic. He is chief physician of department of orthopedics. He is a member of numerous medical societies, including Chinese Medical Association Orthopedics Committee in Shanghai, Chinese Rehabilitation Medicine Association Spine and Spinal Cord Injury Committee, International Spinal Cord Society, the Association for the Study of Internal Fixation. He holds the position of director of Ethnic Chinese Orthopaedic Society.

   A graduate of Second Military Medical University, Tan furthered his study in the United States. He serves as a reviewer for many medical journals, including U.S.-Chinese International Journal of Orthopedic Trauma, National Medical Journal of China, Chinese Journal of Orthopaedics, Orthopedic Journal of China and Chinese Journal of Spine and Spinal Cord.
