    It became a clinical teaching hospital of Capital Medical University in 1987,became an Affiliated Hospital of Capital Medical University in 1997,and in 1999  it became the sixth Clinical Medical College of Capital Medical University.It was named the baby friendly hospital by WHO & NICEF in 1999.It is the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games designated hospital, for many years been rated as the capital of a civilized unit.
