At present, B2 is completed. B1 is under construction. Wu Boxing, vice president of the instituteof cancer research, says that the comprehensive building covers an area of 8,100square meters. The
construction area is 90,450 square meters. Three underground stories are 25,950 square meters.
There are 24 stories totally. The total areais 64,500 square meters.
Compared with five years ago, the hospitalhas got a 77.7% increase of tumor outpatients, 135% of
patients and 62.8% of operationcases. The existing facilities cannot meet the needs of checking,
treatment, hospitalization and parking. After the completion of the new building, the hospital total
construction area will reach180,000 square meters. The beds will reach 1,800 ones yearly. The
outpatientvisits will reach 500,000 times yearly. The operation will reach 20,000 cases yearly.It will
build Asia's largest basic research. It will cultivate high-leveltalents in clinical diagnosis and medical
oncology aspects for the integrationof tumor prevention and treatment research base.
4 parking buildings can make the spaces increased by one time.
It is reported that the comprehensive tumor building contains community public health, education,
prevention ofcensus. It has an area of 4,500 square meters. The teaching and research room has an
area of 19,500 square meters. The area goal of the common tumor clinical research center is 28,000
square meters. It is used for breast cancer, lungcancer, liver cancer cultured on seven major malignant
diseases, clinical treatment clinical research and high-level talents. There is a room of 12,500 square
meters for other departments such as drug distribution center, thematerial distribution center, clinical
assistant examination and public servicefacilities.
Its entrance is designed according to thefunctional requirements. It can effectively achieve traffic
flow and shunt.Each outlet is arranged at an angle. There are temporary parking area, convenient
patient and wheelchair access. There are two to three floors with more than 400vehicle parking
spaces. The hospital is expected to build 4 parking buildings.When completed, the parking spaces
will be doubled. It can effectivelyalleviate the hospital parking problem. The gallery between the two
